On the 3rd of March 2021, in the presence of His Excellency Andrei Metelitsa the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus, the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Belarus has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Punjab Industrial Estates Development & Management Company (PIEDMC) for enhanced cooperation in the industrial sector, and promoting bilateral exchange between the two countries. The MOU was signed between the Honorary Consul and the CEO of PIEDMC, under the supervision and leadership of H.E Andrei Metelitsa and H.E Syed Nabeel Hashmi, Chairman of PIEDMC. Promoting Pakistan's special economic zones in lieu with Belarusian engineering finesse is a giant leap forward towards industrial development, job creation, and socioeconomic development of both nations.
